Let Us Move On fue hecha con Jeff Bhasker, con el que adoro trabajar, en Los Angeles. Y usé una letra que tenía, de Rollo. Se escribió muy rapidamente y parecía genial. Había conocido a Jeff hacia una hora y trabajamos muy bien juntos. Y tener a Kendrick rapeando fue genial, porque yo soy una gran fan y me encanta la combinación entre los dos en la canción.
Ya sabes, hay un dicho que dice que si alguien hace un rapeo y no te gusta, no tienes porque incluirlo. Pero si alguien hace algo, que piensas, que mejora la canción, que la da más sentido o hace que suene mejor, entonces tienes que incluirlo. Y eso es lo que hice.
